Dean Coombs

Dean provides powerful commercial real estate (CRE) asset management and advisory for private investors, family offices, trusts, and ownership groups. He founded Foothill Real Estate Partners in Boise, Idaho to help CRE owners navigate important decisions across the life of their assets.

Before Foothill, he spent nearly a decade on the ownership side at Alturas Capital Partners, where he managed a diversified commercial real estate portfolio spanning office, retail, medical, industrial, and flex properties. The portfolio totaled more than $700 million in value and 4 million square feet. That experience shaped how he thinks about real estate ownership. Strong outcomes depend on a team of experienced property managers, brokers, lenders, attorneys, accountants, and other specialists working toward a clear ownership strategy. Dean emphasizes representing the owner's perspective and helping connect day-to-day decisions with the broader goals for each asset and portfolio.

Today, Dean serves as an independent advisor to commercial real estate owners and their trusted advisors, helping them make better ownership decisions with clarity, discipline, and a long-term perspective.
